Alec Walsh: Hi, I'm Alec! I'm super excited to be part of the 2018 Global Scholars Cohort! At Poly, I have taken World Cultures and plan on taking Global Citizenship, International Relations, and Pilgrimage next year, along with continuing my Spanish studies (Spanish IV AP). Last year, I went on the GIP trip to Peru (http://polygipperu.blogspot.com/), and this summer I am going on the GIP trip to Argentina. Each Saturday, I teach kids from Watts how to ride horses as part of a program called Operation Progress (http://operationprogressla.org/equestrian-program/).
